Mombasa City Tour: Day 1

A guide will pick you up at the Mombasa airport, ready to take you through your city tour. Start your experience with Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Center built in the 16th century by the Portuguese. The fort is a national museum and carries historical significance dating back to the struggles for control of the Indian Ocean trade routes.

Proceed through the streets of the old Mombasa town, exploring the Arabic architectural designs. Meander through to MacKinnon Market to have a taste of the local spices. Visit the Swaminarayan Temple to explore the rich history and spitritual beliefs of the Hindu. Furthermore, stroll through to Moi Avenue to see the significant Elephant Tusks, locally called Pembe za Ndovu. Have lunch at a local restaurant enjoying the local cuisines of the coastal people.

After lunch, you’ll continue to Nyali beach for relaxation. At the beach you’ll enjoy the cool breeze and enjoy the beautiful scenery while recharging for the next day.

Tsavo East National Park: Day 2

Start your day with breakfast and proceed to Tsavo East National Park for a wildlife experience. The journey will take you about 3 hours by road from Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a hot lunch at any of the lodges at the national park. Furthermore proceed to view the diverse wildlife on a game drive. View the dust-red elephants wallowing in the midnight blue waters of the Galana River. Enjoy the view of the longest lava flow in the world, the 300-kilometer Yatta plateau. Relax and recharge for the next day’s marine adventure.

Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park and Wasini Park: Day 3

Begin your adventurous day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel. You will proceed with a dhow cruise to the waters of the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. The dhow is a traditional Arabian sailing vessel. As you sail along, watch out for the playful dolphins leaping alongside the boat and giving you a great show of their aquatic skills. Upon arrival at the marine park, you’ll meet your guide and head in for a snorkeling experience.

Enjoy the azure waters, swimming along with the tropical fish, turtles and the lovely dolphins. Cruise to Wasini island to enjoy the delicious seafood dishes, prepared with local spices and culinary expertise, while enjoying the island’s serenity. After lunch, your guide will take you through the village for a cultural insight into the locals’ ways of life. Transfer back to your hotel to relax and recharge for the following day of adventure.

Diani Beach life: Day 4
Diani beach is located on the beautiful southern coast of Mombasa. This beach is not only popular for its white sand and clear water but also the lively aura. It’s a great destination for sunbathing, swimming as well as snorkeling. Have lunch at a hotel at the beach. Afterwards you will enjoy watersports such as diving, kite surfing and jet skiing. Relax and return to your hotel after dusk to prepare for the next day’s departure.
Departure: Day 5
End your adventurous experience with a hearty breakfast and then proceed to Akamba Handicraft to buy some craft souvenirs. Your guide will drop you off at Mombasa Airport for departure.
