Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport

Arrive at Kigali Airport where our driver guide will receive you from and later transfer you to Kigali-Rwanda’s capital for lunch. After lunch, you will embark on a journey drive to Ruhengeri to the Volcanoes National Park; it is among the widespread Virunga Mountains along with Mgahinga gorilla national park in Uganda and the Virunga in Congo which have a variety of peaks like the Bisoke, Karisimbi, Muhabura and Sabyinyo. It is also home to the rare Mountain Gorillas. Dine and have an overnight stay at booked facility.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking-Volcanoes

On this beautiful day after your breakfast drive to the headquarters of the park, while there you will have a briefing from the ranger guides concerning gorilla tracking. Later start trekking the gentle giants through the Volcanoes forest. Meeting the gorillas will be the most thrilling experience as you will be amazed at the Silverbacks. It will be a great time watching the gorillas play, communicate to each other and the mothers feed the young ones. In fact today will be your day to view and learn a lot about the gentle giants. Strictly one hour is spent with the gorillas, so make sure utilize your time with them. Return to the lodge, one and spend overnight at booked facility.

Day 3: Golden monkey tracking/Dian Fossey’s grave

You might visit the attractive golden monkeys and take walk to Dian Fossey’s grave or just choose other activities like visiting local community projects and schools or choose to hike Muhavura or Bisoke volcanoes. Have dinner and overnight at booked facility. 

Day 4: Travel to Uganda-Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Enjoy breakfast and transfer to Kigali whereby if time allows you could have a short city tour, after which you will proceed with your journey to Uganda. Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable and spend an Overnight together with having dinner at booked facility 

Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

Be a wake so early and have breakfast after drive to the headquarters, be brief and go through the mist Bwindi forest as you trek gorillas, it is an amazing time added with great views of the Silverback and other wildlife species in the forest. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will have only an hour with them. Later head back to the lodge and in the evening have a walk through the community of the indigenous Batwa people where you will learn a lot about their culture. Have dinner and an overnight at booked facility.

Day 6: Return to Kigali-Rwanda

Have an early breakfast and after that bid good bye to the great Bwindi forest and drive back to Kigali where you will have lunch and after your guide will transfer you to the Airport for your flight back home.

 Detailed travel plan

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes national park.

 On the first day   13 Days gorilla, wildebeest migration and Victoria falls   you will be picked from the hotel  from and head for Kigali city tour visiting the Kigali  genocide  memorial, have lunch and head to Volcanoes national park. Arrive and check in at your lodge.

Dinner and overnight stay .

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Ibyiwacu cultural village tour.

Early in the morning, your guide will in pick you up and head to  the park headquarters , you will be briefed on the dos and don’ts  involved   in gorilla trekking. Later you will venture in the gorilla trekking the trekking can take any time from 1- 3 hours, upon meeting the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour interacting.  Later you will exit the park and head back to the headquarters and reunite with your guide and transfer back to your lodge, relax and have lunch.

Later you will head for the cultural experience at ibyiwacu cultural village for the Rwanda cultural experience. You will be taught ways on how the locals go about their life such as, cooking, marriage, house construction etc. later exit and head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali and fly to Arusha.

Arise in the morning, have a hearty breakfast and later check out and transfer to Kigali. Arrive and you will be dropped at the airport for your flight to Arusha.  When you arrive, you will check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park.

Early in the morning you will check out and embark on a drive to Serengeti national park. you will drive past the countryside seeing homesteads, you will have a few stops at the markets to pick up souvenirs to take home with you. You will also have another stop over at the Tanzanite gallery to see some of the amazing African art as well the jewelry.  Later proceed to Serengeti national park. You will arrive at the park, do a brief game drive as you head to the park. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Whole day experience of Serengeti national park (wildebeest migration).

Wake up to an amazing breakfast, later embark on a game drive featuring several routes used by wildebeest, you will get to see wildlife such as lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, elands, wildebeests, warthogs, leopards, cheetahs and many more.  You will spend the whole day enjoying the wonder of Serengeti national park.

Day 6:  Another day at Serengeti national park.

Spend another day at Serengeti national park having the experiences of wildlife. you can opt for hot air balloon in the park.  Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7:  Transfer to Arusha and head to Amboseli national park or  fly direct from

Check out of Serengeti national park and transfer to Arusha, upon arrival you will catch your flight to Amboseli national park.

Day 8:  Whole Day experience Amboseli national park.

Early in the morning, have breakfast and later head out for a game drive in Amboseli national park, experience the wildlife such as elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, lions, buffaloes. among others.

Later dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Masai mara national reserve.

Early in the morning, you will have breakfast, check out and transfer to Masai mara national reserve.  Upon arrival you will check in at your lodge.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge .

Day 10:  Whole Day experience of Masai mara national reserve.

Early in the morning have your breakfast and later head in the savanna on a game drive. You will take the entire days in the drive looking for wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, Thomson gazelles, elands, buffaloes among others.   You will then head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11:  Transfer to Nairobi and fly to Victoria falls

On the 10^th day of 13 Days gorilla, wildebeest migration and Victoria falls, you will check out your lodge in Masai mara national reserve and transfer to Nairobi, catch your flight to Victoria falls in Zimbabwe. Arrive and check in at your lodge.

Day 12: Guided tour of Victoria falls.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will later exit and be taken on a guided tour of Victoria falls also one of the 7^th natural wonders as well as UNESCO world heritage site. You will be amazed by the large curtain of water falls as it makes its way down.  Your guide will acquaint you with the history of the falls.  Later you will retire to the lodge for relaxation. diner and overnight stay.

Day 13:  Departure from Victoria falls international airport.

Get up to a warm breakfast, later prepare to exit the Victoria falls and fly to your destination bringing your 13 days gorilla, wildebeest migration and Victoria falls.
